e-Fest Submission Checklist
- Have you listed at least two and no more than 5 team members with your submission?
- Are all members of your team undergraduate students as of spring 2025 (or graduated no later than fall 2024) at a 4-year college or university?
- Are at least two team members able to travel to Minneapolis, MN for the in-person e-Fest competition April -24-26, 2025? (At least two team members must attend the event and participate in the competitions.)
- Is your business venture pre-revenue?
- Sales do not exceed $50K
- Investments, grants, and awards do not exceed $100K
- Do you have a faculty advisor that can validate your submission and team member eligibility?
- If not, please reach out to your school’s entrepreneurship faculty, staff, or center director to help determine an advisor prior to submitting your venture for the online round.
- Is your faculty advisor able to travel to Minneapolis, MN for the in-person e-Fest competition April 18-20, 2024? (Advisor attendance is required at the event, please ensure your team has a faculty or staff person available to attend the event.)
- Have you uploaded your team submission video for review?
- Is the video in MP4 or MOV format (not a Youtube link)?
- Is your video no more than 7 minutes (not 7 minutes, 3 seconds…)?
- Have you uploaded your slide deck as a PPT or PDF file?
- Is your slide deck no more than 15 slides (you may add 1 additional title slide)?
- Are all members of the team undergraduate students as of spring 2025 (or graduated no later than fall 2024) at a 4-year college or university?
- Are you able to travel to Minneapolis, MN for the in-person e-Fest competition April 24-26, 2025? If not, are you able to confirm an entrepreneurship faculty, staff, or center director that can represent your team and school?
- Are at least two team members able to travel to Minneapolis, MN for the in-person e-Fest competition April 24-26, 2025?
- Are you able to coordinate travel arrangements (including airplane tickets and hotel accommodations) for you and your team?
- Travel stipends of $3,750 (air travel) $1,500 (ground travel) are available for all teams. These funds may not arrive until after the event and should be considered a reimbursement.
- Are you willing and able to be responsible for your team members while at the e-Fest competition?
- Do you verify that your team’s e-Fest submission is:
- a pre-revenue venture business
- sales do not exceed $50K
- investments, grants, and awards do not exceed $100K
- the original work of the students submitting the business venture
